I’m Lucy—also known as Needle & Moon—a hand‑poke tattoo artist based in Portishead, Somerset. As I continue my journey with handpoke, I lean into fine‑line tattoos inspired by the changing seasons, intricate patterns, refined illustrations and naturally, the moon
Hand‑poke is a slower, more gentle approach to tattooing. This technique gives me as the artist, greater creative control during the process, and offers a relaxed, considered experience
My tattoos are crafted with intention and care, giving you ownership of your skin and how you wear it, with designs that mirror lifes rhythms, loves and personal stories
My own story is rooted in family and a curiosity for creating. Most days begin beside my son and continue to unfold as I craft under my ‘moon’. I cherish the happy harmony between the lively pulse of family life and my artistic practice

I work from my private home studio in Portishead, just 25 minutes from Bristol. It’s a quiet, calm, and intimate space designed to offer you complete privacy and help you feel at ease during your appointment
